TSPA Fargo Cosmetology School Student of the Month May 12, 2022

Congratulations to McKenzie Poehler for being named Student Of The Month at The Salon Professional Academy!

McKenzie joined our Cosmetology program in October, recently jumped to a level 2 student stylist. She is very creative and her clients love what she does with their hair! We look forward to seeing McKenzie continue to progress as she continues to learn new skills.

Get to know McKenzie:

Q- Where is your hometown?

A- Bloomington & Burnsville, MN

Q- How long have you been a student at TSPA?

A-  Since October 2021

Q- What is your favorite food?

A- Anything potato related

 Q- Why did you choose The Salon Professional Academy?

A- I chose TSPA because of the atmosphere and the program structure.

 Q- Why did you decide to pursue a career in Cosmetology?

A- Because I’ve always loved doing hair.

 Q- What is your favorite movie?

A- The Blind Side

 Q- Describe TSPA in one word.

A- Inclusive

 Q- What is your favorite thing about TSPA?

A- The people. My friends, the educators, front desk staff, my clients – EVERYONE!

Q- Who is your favorite band/music artist?

A- Rod Wave.  

Q- When did you first become interested in a career in Massage Therapy?

A- When I was like 7 or 8. My sister was a big part of it.

Q- What advice would you give to other students wanting to achieve high levels of success like you have?

A- Work hard, bust your butt for the things you want, and believe in yourself. You are your best advocate.

 Q- What are your plans after you graduate?

A- Work at MJ Capelli with a great team to build clientele, and then work for myself.

Q- What do you like to do in your spare time?

A- Watch the sky change and be around people who care about me.
