Congratulations TSPA Fargo Cosmetology Student of the Month, Sylvia Straight!
Sylvia has been a leader at TSPA since she first walked in the door. She is a member of the student council and recently came up with hair and makeup designs for the annual Christmas Gift style show. Q- How long have you been a student at TSPA?
A- 11 months
Q- What is your favorite food?
A- Queso & Tortilla Chips
Q- Why did you choose The Salon Professional Academy?
A-To put my creative mind to use.
Q- Why did you decide to pursue a career in Cosmetology?
A- I’ve always loved makeup as a young woman, whether it’s doing it on myself or others. I was at a point in my life where I was bored, and I wanted to find something that didn’t feel like work every day. I couldn’t be more happy with my decision.
Q- What is your favorite movie?
A- Lord Of The Rings
Q- What is your favorite thing about TSPA?
A- How we are like a family.
Q- When did you first become interested in a career in Cosmetology?
A- In Middle School. People told me to choose another career because they didn’t think I would “make money”.
Q- What do you plan to do after you graduate?
A- To continue my career doing hair. It’s my goal to be a color specialist in the future.
Q- What do you like to do in your spare time?
A- I like to hang out with my cats, read books and create makeup looks in my free time.
