Congratulations Skylar!

Skylar Ashbaugh has been named TSPA Fargo Cosmetology School Student of the Month —and for good reason! Skylar consistently shows up with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a true passion for the craft. From mastering techniques to uplifting classmates, Skylar leads by example and is always eager to grow. We’re so proud to recognize her dedication and talent!

Q- How long have you been a student at TSPA?

A- 7 months

Q- Where is your hometown?

A- Eagle Bend, MN

Q- What is your favorite food?

A- Pasta

 Q- Why did you choose The Salon Professional Academy?

A- I chose TSPA because when I toured it just felt like the right fit for me. I also have a lot of  family and friends in the area, so that was convenient as well.

 Q- Why did you decide to pursue a career in Cosmetology?

A- I’ve know I wanted to do cosmetology since 3rd grade and I never had much interest in anything else. I also love that it’s such a fulfilling career.

 Q- What is your favorite movie?

A-  Tangled or Home

 Q- What one word best describes TSPA?

A- Family

 Q- What is your favorite thing about TSPA?

A- The environment and how encouraging everyone is.

 Q- Who is your favorite band/music artist?

A-  Megan Moroney

Q- When did you first become interested in a career in Cosmetology?

A- 3rd grade – I’ve always loved everything beauty related.

Q- What advice would you give to other students wanting to achieve high levels of success like you have?

A- Don’t quit, even when you feel defeated. You might feel defeated right away, but once you create something you are proud of it makes it so worth it!

Q- What do you plan to do after you graduate?

A- I plan to stay in Fargo and work at a salon.

Q- What do you like to do in your spare time?

A- I love going to the gym or just being outside or with friends.
