Congratulations to Jacob Pruneda, August student of the month! Jacob is enrolled in our full-time cosmetology program, is a member of our Student Council and will be graduating soon. He has also earned his way to Level 4 in our cosmetology program, which is a huge accomplishment only reached by about 15% of our students! We foresee an amazing future for Jacob!

Q- Where is your hometown?
A- Hillboro, ND
Q- How long have you been a student at TSPA?
A- Since September 2020
Q- What is your favorite food?
A- Tater Tot hotdish & Grilled Cheese with Tortilla Soup.
Q- Why did you choose The Salon Professional Academy?
A- I heard many great things about TSPA through friends, and when I did my research it was clear this school is the one to go to. The staff and environment are amazing and energetic.
Q- Why did you decide to pursue a career in Cosmetology?
A- I chose a career in cosmetology because I’ve always been a creative person. In Highschool I took every art class our school offered. Cosmetology is very hands-on and allows me to be creative, so it felt like the perfect fit.
Q- What is your favorite movie?
A- Easy A.
Q- Describe TSPA in one word.
A- Inspiring
Q- What is your favorite thing about TSPA?
A- My favorite thing about TSPA would have to be the people. From the guests, fellow students, and especially the educators, it’s such a fun environment filled with kind and caring people. I will truly miss it when I graduate in September.
Q- Who is you favorite band/music artist?
A- Post Malone
Q- When did you first become interested in a career in Cosmetology?
A- I’ve always had a passion for being creative & trying new things. Since I was 12 I’ve been cutting my own hair, admittedly not very good at first.
Q- What are your plans after you graduate?
A- I plan to work at Hair Success Salon & Spa in fargo after I graduate, starting with the apprenticeship program and working toward becoming a master cosmetologist.
Q- What do you like to do in your spare time?
A- Reading, Painting, Netflix.
