TSPA Fargo Earns 9 Awards at National Salon Professional Education Conference
Thanks to our generous owners, TSPA Fargo was represented by 10 staff members as well as themselves at the annual SPEC conference in Florida. Awards based on academy performance metrics as well as overall culture of the school are awarded at the annual “Academy Awards” event. The competition is very stiff, with Fargo competing nationwide against larger markets like Dallas, Washington DC and Winnipeg to name a few. To win 9 awards is an amazing accomplishment!
The award we are most proud of, which speaks to the quality and commitment of our students, guests, staff and owners, is the SCHOOL OF THE YEAR AWARD.
We are very proud of our educator Mona, for her devotion to helping others. She spearheaded a toy drive involving donations by our students. This was not an ordinary toy drive. Mona personally purchased 100’s of toys with funds donated by students, staff and guests, carefully packaged them for the long trip to the Green Olive Children’s Home in Kenya, and went through many steps to ensure that the toys would make it safely through dangerous territories to the children in need. Mona was awarded the first annual Deborah Shimer Excellence Award in recognition of her efforts. Deborah Shimer devoted her final years to raising funds for the children’s home, and visited the children annually. She lost her battle with cancer in 2018, and this award honors her selfless dedication to help those in need.
A HUGE shout-out to our very own Sandy for earning the DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD! Sandy has taken our academy from great to amazing through her dedication to making sure our programs prepare our talented students for highly successful careers in Cosmetology, Esthetics, Massage Therapy and Nail Technology, not only with amazing technical skills, but with great business and leadership skills. We are very proud!

French Side Braid with Voluminous Curls
Another excellent choice when it comes to sexy, alluring side-swept styles! This lovely lady starts off her look with a charming french braid, one of which pulls bangs back away from the face to let her eyes shine bright. Her voluminous waves require a large-barreled curling iron/wand to achieve that full, luxurious finish.

Ladies in the 1950s certainly new how to rock the Red Carpet, didn’t they? Well those retro hairstyle still ooze with elegance in 2019, and we’re in love with this charming style. It’s sophisticated, precise, and undeniably posh. For short haired girls, don’t be afraid to coil those tresses up into some polished ringlets. Douse it in hairspray and pin your bangs back to showcase your facial features.
